Derek Taylor is one of those fortunate few.
His experience as a business leader, community advocate, and 10 plus years in sales management mesh perfectly with the qualities you want in a real estate agent. Derek's business leadership started in his youth when he entered his parent's business and honed his entrepreneurial spirit. After they retired to Colorado, he entered the wholesale import business as a sales manager. Sales management and training were always in his blood, and he later took a position with Group 1 Automotive doing just that. He brings a wealth of business knowledge to you as your agent.
He also has a deep passion for community service. Derek is active with the Burleson Parent Teacher Organization, Meals on Wheels, and church based organizations that assist those in need. Children are his top priority. That's one of the reasons he married Lisa, a Burleson native and third grade teacher for BISD. He and wife Lisa worked their way through college with two children in tow. They have seen hard times and good times. Strength of character and a deep faith in God pulls them through.

Derek combines a acute and ever broadening knowledge of the Burleson, Forth Worth and surrounding neighborhood areas, the current real estate market, and the opportunities (and pitfalls) of real estate finance to help his clients achieve their property dreams.
On personal note, Derek lives in his wife Lisa's hometown of Burleson and is only a 20 minute drive from downtown Fort Worth. He has three of the most amazing children Abby, Olivia and Jack. He graduated from Texas Tech University with degree in Psychology and General Business. When you see him around town, please stop him and say hi! Meeting new people is his favorite hobby.
